Everything went out well initially. Until the second I took the casserole off from my oven to find out half an hour later that the cake was still not fully baked inside. So when I tried to take it off from the container it all went sploshed into the plate like a mudslide. Sighhhh!!!&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"&gt;I was really disgusted and don't mention all my hard work, all I knew it all should went into the bin (that was without any doubt). And well I couldn't really make myself to talk about it even to HIMSELF. The house was fulfilled by a nice aroma unfortunately nothing to be found to match the nice cinnamon smell. What am I baking? No I won't tell what I was baking. So forget about it by all means.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"&gt;I was darned frustrated. But guess it was not for long. I learnt my lesson well for the day. Firstly, the top part of my oven was never meant to bake cake. And to bake a good cake I have to know my oven well. Because believe me no matter how good is your oven is said to be there are still different zones like hot zone and cool zone - which will give some kind of impact on your cake.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"&gt;Ok! That was that. Yesterday I was determined and ready to bake again. People said practice makes perfect so true is the saying. Don't believe me? As I had gradually lessen the amount of sugar in the recipe. HIMSELF ate 2 cupcakes straight away when he came home. And that batch that he ate had just been took out of the oven for 15 minutes all fresh and lovely! He love it and the only comment is more blueberries next time around. I was actually having this craving for Mee Bandung. At first I thought it will be hard to produce a mee bandung but well I was wrong. The recipe proof it is just like any other malaysian food recipe.  &lt;img class="emoticon" src="http://wolverinex02.googlepages.com/icon_smile.gif" alt="smile" title="smile" height="15" width="15" /&gt; So off I went cooking!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Mee Bandung&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;(This recipe serve 2)&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Fresh noodles/mee&lt;br /&gt;Beef fillet (thinly sliced)&lt;br /&gt;200g of Squid&lt;br /&gt;4 spoons of dried prawn pouded&lt;br /&gt;4 cloves of shallots&lt;br /&gt;2 cloves of garlic&lt;br /&gt;2 spoonful of chili paste (adjust accordingly to your liking)&lt;br /&gt;A spoon of oyster sauce&lt;br /&gt;2 spoonful of tomato sauce&lt;br /&gt;Vegetables - I used chinese cabbage, carrots and tomatoes&lt;br /&gt;2 eggs&lt;br /&gt;A little bit salt&lt;br /&gt;A little bit sugar&lt;br /&gt;1 spoon of corn flour&lt;br /&gt;Spring onion to garnish&lt;br /&gt;Fresh chili to garnish (sliced)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Method :&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1. Heat some oil and fry the pouded garlic and shallots till fragrant.&lt;br /&gt;2. Add in chili paste and pouded dried shrimp&lt;br /&gt;3. Put in beef fillets and let it boils for awile&lt;br /&gt;4. Next are oyster sauce, tomato sauce, salt and a little bit of sugar&lt;br /&gt;5. Add in all the vegetables and squid let it cook for awhile&lt;br /&gt;6. Add in corn flour that had been dissolve in water to thicken the gravy&lt;br /&gt;7. Put in the eggs and let the gravy stand for few minutes&lt;br /&gt;till the eggs are fully cooked. Don't stir.&lt;br /&gt;8. Dish noodles (that had been  soaked into warm water for 3 minutes) into bowl&lt;br /&gt;and put the gravy on top&lt;br /&gt;9. I had never bake anything by myself as far as I could remember - it always with somebodyelse all this while.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt; &lt;/div&gt;  &lt;div style="text-align: justify; font-weight: bold;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: normal;"&gt;Last Friday, all day at work I had been thinking the perfect recipes for my first ever cupcakes - because I knew HIMSELF will be not at home that evening (he went out fishing again with his mate). And boy it definitely would be a perfect time for me to start experimenting.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt; &lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;I had been doing research for sometimes but well I had never really bake any cupcakes. To be frank what I'm really attracted to was of course not about eating the cuppies but more about seeing it on my kitchen table with all fancy decoration - and a nice review from HIMSELF of course will be helpful and so that I will baked again next time.Hahahhaha.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt; &lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;So after work, with so much excitement I went shopping for my cupcakes ingredients...and unfortunately I had to go to every other supermarket here in Rathmines to get all the things that I needed. Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder and salt&lt;br /&gt;2. With blender or food processor blend the banana and milk,&lt;br /&gt;till all bananas get mashed up&lt;br /&gt;3. Combine mashed bananas, egg, vegetable oil and vanilla,&lt;br /&gt;mixed it till everything got blend together&lt;br /&gt;4. Add hazelnuts that had been finely chopped and cinnamon to the mixture&lt;br /&gt;- whisk it&lt;br /&gt;5. Scoop the ready mixture into cupcakes paper&lt;br /&gt;6. Baked at 300 degrees for 20 minutes&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;span&gt;(you know it's ready when the toothpick come off clean&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;when you poke into the cuppies)&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="background-color: rgb(153, 51, 0); color: rgb(204, 204, 255);"&gt;For the Chocolate topping&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;10 ounces bitter chocolate&lt;br /&gt;1/2 cup of heavy cream&lt;br /&gt;1 teaspoon of butter&lt;br /&gt;1/4 cup of sugar&lt;br /&gt;1/2 cup of milk&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1. Heat up the cream until it's boiling at the edge of the pan&lt;br /&gt;2. Pour the cream on top of the chocolate and whisk the ingredients together&lt;br /&gt;Let it set for a minute&lt;br /&gt;3. If the chocolate didn't melt, put the bowl into another bowl of boiling hot water&lt;br /&gt;Keep on whisking till it blends and add up the butter as well&lt;br /&gt;4. Next pour in milk and sugar and use electric mixer to mix the ingredients together&lt;br /&gt;5. Stop when the mixture get a little bit lighter in color&lt;br /&gt;6. Let it cool off for an hour or two&lt;br /&gt;before topping it to the cupcakes&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span&gt;Result : as per photo attached, I think it was not so bad at all. Considering this was my first try out and it was yummylicious! and the cupcakes were moist.
